Recently I finished a work on video animation for a contest. Well I did this not to win the contest but rather to show my existence as a designer and of course to sharpen my skills and creativity. So this experience got me into thinking of a concept or story and how this will be presented in the animation. Although I must say I didn’t give my best effort on this project because of some personal reasons, I’d say that what I did is good enough at least concept wise.
The requirement was to focus on three keywords “Piaget, celebration and Place Vendome” . It is a teaser to invite the who’s who (women) of the world to view the revelation of work of art. So my concept was to give audience first a little history or background about the Place Vendome and then underscore that it s now a symbol of romance where a man is proposing a girl with a Piaget ring. And suddenly the gloomy environment becomes to bloom (showing flowers) and sparkle (glowing Piaget ring).
And at the end comes the invitation text.
